Art Docents are classroom volunteers who bring art to life for elementary students by teaching engaging, hands-on lessons. The Lake Washington School District elementary art curriculum and the Art Docent program work hand-in-hand to provide a rich visual arts experience for all students.

With support from the Lake Washington Schools Foundation, LWSD Art Docents helped develop a library of elementary art lessons. These resources give docents the tools to deliver high-quality, consistent art instruction and ensure equitable access to art across the district.
