Thanks to the generosity of our PTA, Norman Rockwell Elementary is proud to host local author Lois Brandt in our school library on December 6th and 7th!
Lois Brandt is the acclaimed author of Maddi’s Fridge. Brandt’s book addresses the issues of poverty and hunger. During her visit she will meet with each grade level to share her book, her personal journey as an author and her own childhood struggles with reading and writing. She will address the topics of diversity and friendship and inspire students to join her cause in helping to put an end to hunger.
Books are available for purchase prior to the visit and can be autographed and personalized. Students have each received a printed copy of the order form or you can click here to download and print the order form yourself. Completed forms and payment may be returned to the school by Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
