ROCKWELL PTA NOMINATING COMMITTEE  TAKING NOMINATIONS Filling our PTA Board for 2018/2019 School Year   The PTA needs parents to be involved, not just to make our events and fundraising successful, but as part of the board to organize and manage the PTA (and the school's) needs as a whole. ROCKWELL FAMILY DANCE - Fri. March 23rd Dancing Through the Decades
Get ready to "get down" in the RHS  (Redmond HIGH School) cafeteria on Friday, March 23rd from 5:30 - 8:30 as the Norman Rockwell PTA presents our all-school, family dance party: "Dancing Through the Decades!"  We'll have a professional DJ, photo booth, concessions and of course, lots of room to boogie! The Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC) is a semiannual problem solving contest for elementary and middle school students. SALMON IN THE CLASSROOM UPDATE   Have you seen our Salmon tank lately?  4th graders and their teachers have been excitedly watching as 200 Salmon eggs placed in Rockwell's salmon tank in early January quickly hatched into Alevin with prominent yolk sacs. (Alevin is just a fancy word to describe baby Salmon with yolk sacs). Once all of the Alevin turn into Fry (very soon), members of the 4th grade class get to feed them daily during the school week with the help of parents! Save Those Used Books!
