SEEKING 2018 REFLECTIONS CHAIRS FOR ROCKWELL

If volunteering is part of your 2018 resolution, consider the reflection art program.

Rockwell reflection art program is looking for a chair for 2018-2019 as current chairs have kids in fifth grade.

Reflection art is a PTA nationally acclaimed student recognition program to encourage artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. Students of all grades and abilities may participate and explore the arts, based on a different theme every year.

The involvement is low to medium, sporadic and early in the school year only. I can walk you through in more details but here it is briefly:

·         Promote program in October (Bugle newsletter, morning announcements)

·         Collect art and check if meeting requirement ( about end October)

·         Judge entries for each category (about a week period in early November)

·         Exhibit in Rockwell library. (one night)

·         Exhibit in LWSD. (one night)
