TAKING NOMINATIONS

Filling our PTA Board for 2018/2019 School Year

The PTA needs parents to be involved, not just to make our events and fundraising successful, but as part of the board to organize and manage the PTA (and the school's) needs as a whole.

Every year the PTA elects positions that make the PTA as useful as it is- from funding $40,000 directly to teacher's classrooms to publishing the weekly Bugle newsletter, the people who make up the PTA are the ones that make it happen. Every year it takes a concerted effort to recruit parents who can make the PTA successful, and this year is no different.

We're asking any parent who has the availability to consider the following positions: 

-President, President-Elect, Treasurer, Secretary

-Events, Academic Enrichment, Membership, Communications, Volunteer Services, School Services, and Fundraising. 

By the rules of the PTA, there's a two year term limit on each of these positions, so we're always in need of new members to take on a leadership role. 

There are also three appointed positions to fill: Funds Allocation, Legislative Advocacy, and Disability Awareness.

Please consider nominating yourself for the elected positions by March 30th. Or convince your friends to do it. Or both! Any position can be shared with co-leader.
