May 4-8 is Teacher Appreciation Week and we have never appreciated our teachers and school staff so much as this spring!  Please join us as we celebrate how lucky we are to have such a dedicated crew working for our children.  
 
All of your digital entries should be emailed to TAW@NormanRockwellPTA.orgbetween now and 10am of the daily activities.  We will post a secure link of everyone's entries on the Rockwell PTA webpage by 1pm that same day.
  • Monday, May 4 - "We miss you MORE!" picture.   Did you see the picture collage the teacher and staff made for us on the Rockwell PTA Facebookpage?  We are going to give them a shout out with our own.  Have your student make or print a sign saying, "We miss you MORE!" Take a picture, email it to TAW@NormanRockwellPTA.org, and we'll post the results to start off the week.
  • Tuesday, May 5- "Recipe sharing"  
     What is your go to comfort food these days?  Please type out your favorite recipe, email it to TAW@NormanRockwellPTA.org, and we'll post them for everyone to try.
  • Wednesday, May 6 - "Thank you!" on Flipgrid.  
     Send a video of you saying "Thank you" in the biggest way you know how!  See instructions below for the log in information for sending your Flipgrid video. 
  • Thursday, May 7 - Heart "Attack!"  
     Make and decorate your own paper heart, take a picture, email it to TAW@NormanRockwellPTA.org and we'll post the results.
  • Friday, May 8 - "E-card"
     Email all of your teachers and favorite staff members your thanks with an e-card or picture of a paper card.  You may use any of your favorite e-card websites to send this.  You may email your card to your teacher or staff member directly.

You do not need to sign up to view videos on Flipgrid when given this link.  However, to record a video, you will need to enter an email address.  You can enter either a student or parent's email address.  (It does not need to be a Rockwell email address)

*Note:  The pictures and videos will be shared on the Norman Rockwell PTA website. By sending a video, photo or message, you are consenting to public sharing of the video, photo or message. If you prefer your child to NOT be in the public video, you can send your message directly (privately) to teachers/staff of your choice during staff appreciation week.
